Plot

After spending the last few years in Chicago, you decide to return to Willow Creek, the small town where you grew up. It’s quiet, familiar, and maybe a little too far from the life you once imagined for yourself. Still, there’s something comforting about being back—old friends, familiar faces, summer evenings, and perhaps someone you never quite managed to forget.

At first, everything feels normal. You settle back into town, reconnect with people from your past, and slowly start building a new life. But Willow Creek has always had its secrets. Strange stories, forgotten places, and things people would rather not talk about. Then you start noticing little things that don’t quite make sense: an old photograph, a familiar name in a newspaper, a house that shouldn’t be occupied. Nothing you can prove. Nothing you can explain.

People have disappeared from Willow Creek before. Some years ago, some only recently. There are no clear answers, and whenever you ask about them, the conversation suddenly changes. Maybe it’s just a small town protecting its own secrets. Maybe there’s a perfectly reasonable explanation. But the more you look into the past, the more you begin to wonder if everyone remembers things the same way you do.

And yet, life in Willow Creek isn’t all mystery. You’ll meet new people, grow closer to old friends, and maybe find someone who makes staying feel a little more tempting. Between quiet nights, unexpected dates, old memories, and the strange things happening around town, you’ll have to decide who you can trust—and how much of the past you’re really willing to uncover.

Maybe there’s nothing unusual about Willow Creek at all. Maybe coming home has simply changed the way you see it. Or maybe there are things hiding just beneath the surface, waiting for someone to notice.

Either way, you’re already home.
